Chad Michael Lussier

GRAND ISLE – Chad Michael Lussier, age 40, born on May 6, 1986, in St. Albans, passed away on Sept. 3, 2026, due to complications of diabetes.

He was a very hardworking man who proudly owned and operated Platinum Property Management and Construction.

Chad had a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone in need.

He played hockey throughout his youth, serving as captain of his teams. This fostered a lifetime love of the Boston Bruins. He also avidly followed the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

Nothing made him happier than a huge bonfire, lots of fireworks, and a coffee brandy in his hand. Chad loved any and all animals. When he encountered them, he would offer food and water. Wild or not.

Chad loved his family dearly. He was especially proud of his son, Dominic.

Chad’s handsome smile and sense of humor will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Chad is survived by his son, Dominic Lussier, and Dom’s partner, Kadence McSweeney; his loving mother, Kimberlee Lussier, and her partner, Bob Duggan; his father, Brian Lussier; and his sister, Kristee Lussier, as well as her two children, Addison and Oliver.

Also surviving Chad are his grandmother, Beverly Kemp; his aunts and uncles, Mark (Amy) Kemp, Brian (Gena) Kemp, Kellee (William) Paradee and Kevin (Kelly) Lussier; his godmother, Lori (Marcel) Yandow; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

Chad also leaves behind his best four-legged friend, Tank, now in the care of Chad’s girlfriend, Jess Treanor.

Chad was predeceased by his grandparents, George (Bumpa) Kemp and Claude (Pep) and Patricia Lussier.

A celebration of Chad’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 42 Centre Drive, Milton, Vermont.
