Now Hiring – Public Works Assistant
Full-time, year-round position with the Town of North Hero. Join a dedicated team providing essential services to the community.
PAY: $20–$23/hour (depending on experience). BONUS: $2,000 sign-on bonus. BENEFITS: Health, retirement, paid time off.
DUTIES INCLUDE: Road maintenance and construction labor, truck driving and equipment operation, grounds maintenance and facility cleaning, snow plowing and storm response.
REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license required. Ability to perform physical work. Must work outdoors in all weather conditions.
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; overtime required during storms, winter weather, and emergencies.
