North Hero voters reminded to watch for General Election ballots

NORTH HERO – North Hero voters should be watching their mailboxes for absentee ballots for the Nov. 3 General Election.

The State of Vermont mailed ballots Sept. 21 to all registered voters, and ballots have already begun arriving in North Hero. Voters do not need to request a ballot.

North Hero Town Clerk Corinn Julow is asking voters who have not received their ballot to contact the North Hero

Town Office by Friday, Oct. 2, at 802-372-6926 or info@northherovt.com.

Voters who will be leaving town should also contact the Town Office as soon as possible because ballots cannot be forwarded by the U.S. Postal Service.

Those who prefer to vote in person should save the ballot they receive in the mail and bring it with them to the polls. Voting will take place Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Community Hall, 3541 U.S. Route 2.

Voters who arrive without their mailed ballot will be required to sign a form stating they have not already voted before receiving another ballot.

Early voting is also available at the North Hero Town Office through Election Day.

Questions can be directed to the Town Office at 802-372-6926 or info@northherovt.com.
